I present a rudimentary photo album of some of my favorites.
The water in the air was bouncing the light around,
giving everything more even illumination.
What a day for a camera!
mid-September 2010, North Danville, VT
A chilly winter sunset, wedge of the moon,
and condensed breath caught in the camera’s flash.
I modified brightness levels using “curve” tools
primarily to bring out the dark foreground.
Late afternoon; a non-yet-active garden bed in shade.
Rather dramatic clouds, almost expect a UFO.
Edited brightness curve to bring out trees.
Cropping gives the trees a stronger presence.
I think it makes for a more balanced picture.
